Lamborghini Gallardo SE (SE stands for the special edition) was produced in limited numbers, more accurately 250 units and it is distinguished from the other Gallardo models by the two-tone roof color and also by the two-tone interior. Apart from distinguishing features in the interior and exterior of the car, the designers have also made mechanical modifications that were often point of criticism when it comes to the original Gallardo models. Lamborghini Gallardo SE can accelerate from 0 – 100 km/h in 3,8 seconds, the engine has the power of 512 bhp at 8000 rpm, while the steering wheel has been adjusted to be responsive and quicker.

Another addition to this model is the so-called “thrust system” which purpose is to give easier start from all gears from the standing point, also to optimize acceleration. The Pirelli factory has especially designed the tires, which are intended for the true driving sports enthusiast. Navigation and multimedia system as well as the rear view camera are all part of this exceptional model. The dual – color scheme is applied to both interior and the exterior, with the interior color matching the exterior color of the Lamborghini Gallardo SE.

Even though only 250 units of Lamborghini Gallardo SE have been produced, the mechanical modifications as well as the two-color scheme will be incorporated in all future Gallardo models made after the year 2006. Other features of this particular model are 2 air bags at the front and on the sides, aluminum space frame, 6-speed gearbox as well as 4-wheel drive.
